Enables participants to brush up and consolidate personal Level 2 literacy / numeracy skills, explore basic skills support strategies and gain the National Certificate in Adult Literacy or Numeracy. Each module contains a specific skills focus, support strategy tips and skills/test practice. Train the Trainers option also available.
Maths methods moduleHow do you add, subtract, multiply and divide? What range of approaches can you use to support learners? This module provides an overview of some of the most commonly used strategies for calculation.
Intermediary RouteThis is your one-stop route to support the promotion of English and maths training opportunities.Through a series of interactive activities, the iRoute gives you the chance to consider ways of getting people interested in taking up the offer of gaining a national qualification in English or maths.
Broadened Recruiter TrainingIt equips intermediaries (advisers, brokers, champions, recruiters, referrers, mentors, signposters, union learning reps and supervisors) to use the Move On approach to engage learners, and gives an introduction to the national Skills for Life qualifications at all levels.
